I personally own a Canon EOS 500D, it’s pretty nifty but lacks proper video controls. The next best thing would be the 550D, and I’ve used that on a few videos in the past - and in my upcoming documentary.
Get some nice lenses, and a little rig and before you know it everything will be out of focus because you’re shooting at f/0.95!!!1!2!
