Let the covers for Daft Punk’s controversial new single ‘Get Lucky’ roll on in. The original track took a little time for me to get used to - the initial gut reaction was this is not Daft Punk, get out of my ears. Then I found myself somehow listening to it 3, 4, 5 times a day.
George Barnett’s cheery cover is awesome with some great live drums and keys - it doesn’t stray too far from the original, but it adds enough flavour to keep you addicted, “one more time listen” I say!
