Would you believe it, this 90 minute French film is… a HORROR (and a gory slasher at that)… though it does looks like a Caribou music video though the hazy mush of VHS.
I skipped the first twenty-five minutes to add an extra layer of “what-the-fuckery”. Possibly the best aspect of this film - other than a couple of random masked dudes popping up out of nowhere at 26 minutes - is the excellent neo-psychedelic-reggae soundtrack. Straight to VHS!
Accidental multi-exposure with the Vito C rangefinder. I have a tendency to get bored and re-wind it without thinking… and before you know it you get strange occurrences like the ones presented above. Fujifilm Superia 200ASA Colour.
If I were to ever make a song, it would probably sound something like this. Beautifully simple structure, but ultimately excellent execution… plus, mmm reverb (and we all know how much I like reverb.)
